Do you charge a room hire fee?

No, bookings in our Bistro and Hops Playland do not have a room hire. Please note that these spaces are not private, and will be open to other bookings.
What is a minimum spend?

A minimum spend is the amount that must be met on food and beverage purchases. Our minimum spend is required to be prepaid.
Additional costs such as Service Charge, theming, etc is not included in the minimum spend.
Is a deposit required to secure my booking? What if I change my mind after I’ve paid it?

Yes, we require a $200 deposit on all Bistro and Playland bookings. Deposits are non-refundable upon payment should you choose to cancel your function.
Do you allow BYO food or drinks?

We are a fully licensed pub, therefore we do not allow BYO.
Am I able to decorate or theme the space?

Yes, you may bring table decorations, including balloons, for your allocated tables. Please note we do not allow glitter, confetti or any decorations of offence.
What is the dress code?

The Australian Brewery is a relaxed and casual venue, as is our dress code.
We do however not allow the following:
Clothing with offensive language or designs
Gang clothing
Offensive or gang related tattoos
Can we bring our own cake?

Yes, you may. We can even provide you with a knife and plates to serve it FREE of charge.
Alternatively, we can cut and plate your cake for an additional fee.
Do you have a courtesy bus?

No, we do not have a courtesy bus. However, we are a 10 minute UBER ride from the closest station.

As we play our part to keep our community safe, our Hotel doors are closed but only for now. Before you know it we will be sharing in each other's great company in person once again.

We are now working together with our Publinc Communities members to understand how we can be better when we reopen our doors.

We know that the lock down life can sometimes get the best of us, so we're channeling some of those feelings into something constructive that can have real impact for our community.

We will continue to support our staff team and keep you up to date as changes come to light. We look forward to that moment when our lights switch back on, our doors unlock and we can get back to what we do best and that is being your local; the place for us all to come together, enjoy good times with great company and do great things for our community.
